Is College The Only Way? - Many people can be successful without college. College is just a tool to make our life better. We can get an education without studying at college.
Education is miraculous. It can change the world. Have you ever thought what the world is like before education? In my mind if people are not educated the world would be nothing. People would destroy each others, kill each other and eat each other. Jungle law would rule in the world. Do you think education is good for us?
Perhaps you are now a student in secondary school and you are preparing for your final examinations. I hope you graduate successfully.
After graduating, perhaps you will continue your study in college. It would be good for you to continue your study. Of course, to accomplish that you have to have ability, opportunity, and enough money. How about students who do not have ability, opportunity, or money? What about their future? Will life end for them?
Willingness
Life will not end for people who have willingness in their heart. You usually call willingness motivation. Motivation or willingness is something which lives in our soul and becomes the power to push our life. Motivation can make our life useful. Willingness in our life is like gasoline in a car. Without gasoline the car cannot move. Many teenagers who cannot study in college become frustrated and many of them commit suicide. It's tragic. Is this a wise solution to solve the problem? I do not think so! Every year many student become victims of the opinion which says college is everything in the world. It is not true. Without college the students still can have a future, if they have motivation in their soul. How can this happen?
Not Everything
Many people can be successful without college. College is just a tool to make our life better. We can get an education without studying at college. Skills can be learned by many ways. For instance, perhaps you like to play football. You can become an expert in the sport like Maradona, Ruud Gullit, Mario van Basten, and so on. Yayuk Basuki, Liem Swie King, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, are examples of experts in their field. You can make them your idols. How they learn and practice their skill can be a method for you to copy. Perhaps, you are interested in sports, machine repair, or story writing. Choose one of them to be your skill in future. It is not easy. Perhaps, you are interested in many fields. It would be better for you to choose just one of them. To choose the skill you have to ask yourself what kind of skill you really want to do. Choose one of your hobbies. Raising the hobby to a skill can be done by yourself or by taking a course. To improve your tennis playing you can practice by yourself or take course.
Seriously
Anything we do will be a success, if we do it seriously. Your hobby will able to earn money of you do it seriously. Maybe, you do not need to look for a job, but you can make a new job for you and maybe for someone else. Painting, writing, singing and so on are professions that can earn much money. If we can create new jobs for other people, it will be useful for our country.
